Technology transfer from institutions of higher education to SMEs

This funding measure strengthens the innovation performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through regional networking with local universities and institutes with a focus on structurally weaker parts of Bavaria. Projects support cooperation activities between institutions of higher education – such as universities – and SME and aim at developing new and innovative technical solutions for the benefit of SME that would otherwise potentially not have access to such innovation. Half of the budget is reserved for projects related to CO2 reduction/climate protection.
