Energy efficiency in state infrastructures

As part of a special programme run by the Free State of Bavaria, energy-saving measures are to be promoted with ERDF funding in state-owned properties. Projects can include energy-saving improvements to the building envelope and in the facility technology. Renewable energies will also increasingly be used. With its state-owned buildings, the Free State of Bavaria is also fulfilling an important role model function when it comes to reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. ERDF funding helps to significantly enlarge the budgetary means and the impact of the Bavarian special programme.
